SensAI Hack 2025 – XR & AI Hackathon

ESPRONCEDA Institute of Art & Culture proudly presented SensAI Hack Barcelona 2025, the world’s largest XR & AI hackathon, which brought together 150 XR and AI engineers to develop games, applications, and prototypes using cutting-edge technologies in artificial intelligence, computer vision, and extended reality.

Held from 16 to 18 November 2025, the event offered participants a unique opportunity to learn from leading industry experts, collaborate on innovative projects, and push the boundaries of XR and AI within immersive experiences. The hackathon formed part of the IMMENSIVA 2025 programme.

Hackathon Highlights
The programme featured a high-profile jury and mentors from Unity, Meta, and Owlchemy Labs, alongside free hands-on workshops focused on XR, AI, computer vision, and Horizon Worlds game creation. Participants connected with an international community of developers and creators and competed for a $10,000 USD prize pool, with additional opportunities to access global competitions exceeding $1 million USD.

For Game Developers and Studios
SensAI Hack provided game studios and independent developers with the opportunity to experiment with new mechanics and social VR gameplay, integrating AI and computer vision into their projects. Participants learned how to design Horizon Worlds social games, build immersive VR experiences, and received mentorship from leading professionals in the fields of XR and AI.

About SensAI Hack
SensAI Hack is the first global XR Champions League, bringing together more than 500 XR and AI developers through on-site hackathons held in London, Cologne (Gamescom Week at STARTPLATZ), Barcelona (ahead of Unite 2025), and San Francisco (Frontier Tower). Organized by XR Bootcamp in partnership with Meta, the programme presented real-world challenges and prize opportunities, encouraging innovation, professional growth, and international networking. Throughout the hackathons, participants worked with the latest XR and AI technology stacks and collaborated directly with industry decision-makers.
