Silenci en temps de soroll – Exposición de Regina Saura and Rita Roqueta
On February 17, 2026, as part of the NUBIA LABS 2026 incubation program, the immersive exhibition Silenci en temps de soroll (Silence in times of noise) was presented. This work by artists Regina Saura and Rita Roqueta invites the public to experience the transformation of urban space towards nature through perception, attention and digital interaction.
This exhibition is the evolution of a deep artistic research started in November 2025. The starting point was the intervention presented in the iconic Mies van der Rohe Pavilion within the NUBIA LAB INCUBATION AI MONTES 2025 program.
What began as a reflection on space and nature in a historical architectural setting, is now moved to an exhibition environment where technology allows for a much more intimate, sensory and participatory experience.
Bosc de Missatges
One of the key points of the exhibition is Bosc de Missatges (Forest of Messages), an interactive projection mapping installation that demonstrates that technology can be “organic”.
Developed by Ariadna Cortés and Lluís Sentís, the work uses LiDAR sensors and TouchDesigner to create a responsive visual environment.
The collaboration with Lluís Sentís – a leading researcher in humanoid robotics and AI – endows the project with a “sensible logic”. The installation not only projects images, but tracks human presence, translating body movement into algorithmic compositions in real time. It’s a digital forest that reacts to your breathing and your walk.
Cercle dels Desitjos
Digital evolution continues with Cercle dels Desitjos (Circle of Desires). Born from the initial incubation of Kat Pegler, this Mixed Reality (MR) environment dissolves the boundaries between physical and virtual.
The piece functions as a living archive of collective hope. Through a web interface, visitors can send their “digital wishes”, which are instantly incorporated into the work as dynamic and floating messages. Here, the “forest” becomes a database of human dreams, processed by spatialized sound and immersive visuals to create a shared speculative ecosystem.
Both Bosc de Missatges and Cercle dels Desitjos represent the heart of NUBIA Labs’ mission: to explore new relationships between art, technology and artificial intelligence from a critical perspective.
This exhibition is part of NEB & Inclusió, a program promoted by ESPRONCEDA – Institute of Art & Culture as an official partner of the New European Bauhaus (NEB). This European initiative combines design, culture and technological innovation to rethink how we live together, promoting more sustainable, inclusive and responsive models for transforming our environments.
